Last week’s OIA Tailgate Party brought together colleagues from across Outreach and International Affairs for food, fun, and Hokie spirit — all while supporting students in need.

Thanks to the generosity of those who attended, nearly 300 food items were delivered this week to The Market of Virginia Tech, helping stock the shelves for students who rely on its fresh and healthy ingredients.

A special thank-you goes to the OIA Tailgate planning committee — Alice Ann Crowl, Blaine Vella, Nancy Gruber, John Register, and Jennifer Dowdy — for organizing such a successful event.

Thanks also to the many colleagues who contributed donations to The Market, including Leland, Becky, Alice Ann, Diane, Lucas, Christina, Rich, Shelly, Scott, Dr. J., Tom, Tammy, TaJae, the Burnams, Tess, Erin, Jennifer, Susan, Matthew, Larissa, Julia, Maria Elisa, Pamela, Blaine, Fran, Stephanie, Emmalee, Karen, Abby, Amanda, Joe, Guru, Jeff, Steve, Beth, Lisa, Aislinn, Maureen, and Siwen.
