40 graduate from Language and Culture Institute
Forty students from Virginia Tech’s Language and Culture Institute marked a major milestone last week, completing their programs and preparing for the next step in their academic journeys.
Five students finished the Intensive English Program, while 35 completed the AdvantageVT program — a pathway program that allows international students to earn university credit while strengthening their academic English skills before transitioning into full-time degree studies.
The graduation celebration featured remarks from three graduates whose speeches encouraged their peers and reflected their growing confidence in English. Most graduates will move on to full-time undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech beginning in January.
