Alumni Awards for International Excellence
Annually, the University Committee on International Affairs (UCIA) Awards Committee reviews submitted packets and selects three (3) faculty members for the following categories: 1) excellence in international education; 2) excellence in international outreach and 3) excellence in international research. Documents to assist a nominee in submitting a packet for consideration include:
- Memorandum-International Alumni Awards and Application Instructions
- Alumni Award for Excellence in International Education Criteria
- Alumni Award for Excellence in International Outreach Criteria
- Alumni Award for Excellence in International Research Criteria
- Past Award Recipients for Alumni Awards for Excellence in International Education, Outreach, and Research (2000-present)
Alumni Awards for Outreach Excellence
Annually, the Commission on Outreach and International Affairs (COIA) Awards Committee reviews submitted packets and selects one (1) faculty member and one (1) team that demostrate excellence in outreach. Documents to assist a nominee/team in submitting a packet for consideration include:
- Department Head Memorandum
- Description, Criteria, Nature of Award, Eligibility and Process of Award
- Form to be included with submission materials
- Past Award Recipients for Alumni Awards for Outreach Excellence (1995-Present)

College Awards for Outreach Excellence
The College Awards for Outreach Excellence are handled by each individual college. As such, the criteria and deadline for this award varies from college to college. The Office of Outreach and International Affairs sponsors the College Award for Outreach Excellence and provides one (1) plaque and a $500 award for either one (1) individual or one (1) team effort per college; per year. Please contact your Dean's Office for criteria and deadlines for this award.
